The Official Announcement!!!

I promised an announcement today... and here it is:

This past Fri, Sat, and Sunday felt GREAT!!! No mooching around the internet looking for celebrity stories. A nice little breather. It felt so nice I really thought about making it a permanent blogging vacation.

BUT -- I really like giving the celebs crap on a daily basis, I really like the excitement of watching the # of visitors/hits for this site rise week by week. And... I really like turkey sandwiches. [Sorry, I felt there needed to be three things there but I only had two.]

Then today came and I just got a text from a good buddy of mine. He said that he had seen the last post on the blog and would love to help out. It's weird because I was just thinking about asking him to jump in and become a "Dirt Slinger" this past weekend. He's a fellow wiseass... and a very nice guy. So please welcome to the Dirt Team: J-A-Double-Dizzle!

I need to be honest with myself and know that I can't keep this thing going by myself. BUT -- we'll start adding a couple new Team Dirt members (starting with Jadd), then none of us will have to bust our ass too hard, we can keep this blog going, make it stronger, and eventually take over the Earth... one Britney Spears story at a time.

So thanks to those of you who have stuck with the blog over the past couple "less-than-stellar" weeks. But we're moving forward! Now please: jump in and discuss the stories! The more people posting comments the better! And please welcome JADD!!!
