I'm sure you've all seen the ads for it on MTV over the last couple weeks, but T.I. has a new reality show that just started about his final 45 days before he has to serve a prison sentence for a year and a day. Road to Redemption follows T.I. trying to change the lives of 7 troubled kids, including an Atlanta drug dealer named Pee Wee, who said he'd rather be an actor than a dealer. So T.I. gives him a dose of Romeo and Juliet.
If T.I. is doing this because he knows he screwed up and he doesn't want people to follow the same path he did, then that's seriously awesome. But part of me is thinking this is just a publicity stunt so he can look like a good guy before he hits the slammer, or so he can try to get a reduced sentence.
