Any Rascal Flatts fans out there? Yeah, I'm one, I won't lie. Well, the fellas have been accused of stealing music from back in the day. D.L. Byron, who is a veteran songwriter, and suing the Flatts, their record label and producers for copyright infringement of the Pat Benatar song Shadows of the Night in the Flatts' song No Reins. D.L. is saying the first 17 seconds of No Reins is a total ripoff of Shadows of the Night. I posted both songs below -- just listen to the beginnings. I actually matched them up and they sound REALLY similar, but you be the judge.
