About a week and a half ago, we reported that Usher cancelled his pre-Grammy performance at Clive Davis' party so he could rush to Brazil and be by his wifey's side, who had complications due to routine surgery. Doesn't really sound that bad, right? Wrong.
Apparently, Tameka went to the hospital for just a routine liposuction surgery, but before the even started the procedure on her, she ended up going into cardiac arrest. The doctors revived her after about a minute, then put her into a medically induced coma before they transferred her to the Intensive Care Unit, and eventually another hospital. She was released on Monday and is doing fine.
