The big talk in Red Sox Nation all weekend was the construction worker who buried an Ortiz jersey in concrete at the new Yankee Stadium. Well last night while the Yanks were gettin spanked at Fenway, different workers dug up the jersey to kill any curse that it would've caused. Pansies.
The thing that gets me though, is that they are actually being called heroes in New York right now! Heroes? For removing a jersey?! I unclogged the toilet at my uncle's store once...guess I'm a hero, too.
