Lead singer for Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas, said that the band is cancelling it's show at Cheyenne Frontier Days (which is billed as the the World's Biggest Outdoor Rodeo) because of their animal rights beliefs.
Robbie T and his wife Marisol threw up a statement on the band's website, saying:
We ask that (fans) please understand that it would be impossible for us to put ourselves in the position of making money from what we believe to be the mistreatment of animals.
Let's review what happens at a rodeo: 1) Man gets on top of bull, 2) Man attempts to stay on bull, 3) Man gets flung from bull, 4) Man gets stepped on by bull, and finally 5) Bull steps on man's junk.
And the animal cruelty is where?
