Here's a couple stills of Britney's performance last night. Ironically they move just about as much as she did. And one reason why she was so "out of it" was because the hotel cancelled her big plans with Criss Angel last minute -- throwing her all off. And she knew it - reportedly crying backstage after her performance.
But at least Britney didn't have the worst OUTFIT of the night (although she's a semi-close second). That honor goes to Lil' Mama:
Kanye West cried like a little beeeotch backstage again - it seems to happen a lot at award shows. He was majorly pissed that he lost in ALL 5 of the categories he was nominated for. He said he'll never come back to MTV again. Yo Kanye -- don't you realize nobody really cares who wins or loses, we just care who looks good and bad - and who fights who???
Speaking of which Tommy Lee and Kid Rock got into a scuffle at the show. Pamela Anderson's crabs broke it up. Yawn.
And back to Britney... she did it again! Last night... no panties... got out of a car cooch first... paparazzis were there. Not a good night for Britney. To see the vag-slip... and it's very naked so please only go if you're 18+... click the "before" pic of Britney below.
In the end -- I thought it was a good show.
Chris Brown and Rihanna was the best performance.
The live singing bumpers to and from commercial were weird, rushed, but cool.
Justin's "bring back music videos" message was rad.
Alicia Keys looked hot.
Britney gave us something to talk about.
I don't want to watch it the 247 more times that it will be replayed on MTV over the next week... but for the most part - mild thumbs up.

Britany Spears SUCKED! i laughed the whole time she was on stage. and then i relized how freakin' bored i got and went down stairs and made a sandwich to then come back upstairs to see that Sarah Silverman was making everyone feel somewhat awkward. then i got bored and went to bed.
but that Britany Spears thing was probably one of the stupidest things MTV has ever done. and one of the most boringest and pointless openings for the VMAs ever!!

Horrible! I'm not going to lie my friend and I were watching it and ended up changing the channel. Sarah wasnt funny and Britney aw man I felt bad, my jaw dropped when i saw how poorly she did. The crowd seemed rough. And when pete from fall out boy was trying to talk the microphone didnt work. Personally I thought it was a disaster.
Britney came onto the stage looking like she was pregnant again. What was she doing up there?! She just walked around like she was lost. After shaving her hair off and taking horrible care of her kids, MTV should've known she was too much of a psycho for the VMA's to handle.
Britney looked far from pregnant again, she's had 2 kids and looks pretty decent for it.
Her lackluster performance was the result of mtv and the palms scrapping her performance 2 days before the event due to insurance concerns and too small of a stage. They had to scramble to put together something else ast minute.
Second, there are several pictures floating around and you'll see her heel broke right at the start of her bit, she kept dancing anyway.
Third, she got wind of Sarah's tasteless bit right before going onstage and she was pissed. Mtv assured Brit there would be no jokes about her kids allowed and Sarah and mtv let it happen anyway. Her people were telling her to just leave and walk last minute, but she knew you relentless people would tear her a new one for that too. So she went ahead with the performance and just wanted to get it over with.
You people need to stop being so judgemental. It's truly obnoxious.
