Metallica lands a spot in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame

Frontman James Hetfield and the fellas of Metallica (well, minus the ones that quit the band or died) are being inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility! A band has to be nominated 25 years after their first release (Metallica dropped Kill 'Em All in 1983) in order to be eligible. And they're still coming out with huge hits, releasing a SICK album in September called Death Magnetic. Drummer Lars Ulrich was obviously pumped band.

It's about unity. We are part of a bigger picture. I personally love rock 'n' roll history and how everything fits together. To be a part of that history and to inspire what's coming after us is a great, great honor.

I've always been a Metallica fan, and their latest album is...I can't explain how sick it is. If you love metal even a little bit, check it out. Congrats!!
