All of you soap opera fans better grab another box of tissues, because two actors from Days of Our Lives got the ole budget cut yesterday. Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn, who have been on the show for 32 years and 22 years respectively, were laid off due to the horrible economy. The show is scheduled to continue on -- they just received an 18-month contract extension, which is a little shy from their last one, which was for 5 years.
You KNOW the economy is bad when celebrities start getting the budget cut.
