Scarlett Johansson graces the cover of Allure magazine in December and also sat down with the mag for an interview where she touched on a bunch of different topics, including her whole e-mail scandal with Barack Obama and how the public reacted.
I equated it with the sexist media, trying to put every woman into this position: Either you're a bulldog, or you're some slutty airhead. Maybe some people would say it's an image that I put out. That's a crock of sh*t. I'm sorry. The fact was completely taken out of context, and it was horribly embarrassing.
There's not many ways you can take "Obama and I send e-mails back and forth to each other all the time" out of context. Just throwing that out there.
