The reason behind Ted Turner and Jane Fonda splitting up

Ted Turner and Jane Fonda seemed like the ultimate Hollywood couple at one time, but for the old school generation. Which is why everyone was pretty surprised that they split up. No one really understood why it happened, but they both pretty much use the same reasoning in their biographies -- lack of communication.

Jane said in her book, My Life So Far, that since they were both so busy and not around each other a lot, that they had a serious lack of communication which made it tough for them to work through things and what not. I suppose the fact she said he slept around had something to do with it, too.

In his new book that's out, Call Me Ted, he calls the people who say they split because she converted to Christianity very wrong. Ted said it wasn't the fact that she converted, but more the fact that she didn't talk to him about it first. I'm going to go out on a limb though, and say it's neither of those reasons. I think I know why they split up.

It's because Vince McMahon bought out WCW and ended the Monday Night War.
