I tiptoe around sports stories, since this is a celebrity gossip blog, but sports stars are celebrities too. Plus, this story is solid gold. Brandon Backe, pitcher for the Houston Astros, was arrested at a wedding over the weekend. Not because he was too drunk, but because he got in a fight.
If that doesn't reek of white trash, I don't know what does.
