"Desperate Housewives" star seriously injured in motorcycle crash

Gale Harold, who plays Jackson (Teri Hatcher's boyfriend) on Desperate Housewives, is in critical condition after a huge motorcycle crash on Tuesday. He fractured his shoulder and has swelling in the brain, but doctors say he'll be fine.

The crash is going to cause some script edits, mainly in the eighth episode, where his character apparently plays a pivotal role when the cast gets caught in a nightclub fire. (My money is on him sacrificing himself so everyone can get out and he burns to death, or something explodes in his face.)

One scene is being edited as we speak, but the writers and producers of the show are waiting to hear Jackson's official prognosis before moving forward with any more changes.

Obviously us Dirt slingers are glad he's ok and wish him a speedy recovery!
