Rumor has it that the writers for Transformers 2 are going to work in a storyline about Shia's recent accident that resulted in him getting surgery on his hand.

The movie's director, Michael Bay, told Access Hollywood that they're trying to figure out a way to shoot around the injury because two of his fingers are still pretty mangled.
