US Weekly has officially confirmed that despite the rumors, Britney Spears won't be performing at the MTV VMA's for the second year in a row. She will be involved in the show in some capacity, though.
I'm actually kinda bummed. She's really busted her ass lately and whipped herself into shape (physically and mentally)-- I think she would've rocked this year.
