Lynne Spears....

The Enquirer is reporting that in 1975 Lynne Spears hit and killed a 12-year-old boy who was riding his bike in Kentwood. The article says Lynne was driving her brother to the hospital when the incident occurred.

A rep for Lynne told the tabloid "It bothers Lynne still to this day," adding, "She really doesn't like to talk about it. She just wanted to forget that it ever happened -- but she can't."

The young boy, Anthony Winters, lived along the route Lynne was taking.

Lynne's rep says, "Anthony Winters and his friend were in the road on a curve on a bicycle. As Lynne rounded the curve she could not avoid the boy in the street as there was oncoming traffic in the opposite lane."

Anthony later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.

Her rep adds, “Lynne realized the boy was struck immediately and to this day is grieved by the Winters’ loss of their son.“
