If none of you get that reference, then you have no idea what Back to the Future is. And if you have no idea what Back to the Future is, then you're dead to me. Anyway...
Actor Michael J. Fox is making his return to primetime TV with a four-episode appearance on FX's Rescue Me. Fox is good friends with the show's star, Denis Leary (who plays firefighter Tommy Gavin), and will play Tommy's estranged wife's new husband, who just happens to be in a wheelchair. Denis said that Mikey's role will be a very funny, very original one. He'll debut his character on the season premiere sometime in 2009.
I'm JACKED. Michael J. Fox is one of my favorite actors, and the Back to the Future movies are my favorite movies ever. He has Parkinson's Disease and quit acting back in 2000 because of the tremors he used to get, so I'm DEFINITELY pumped up that he's coming back!
